what is quickBid?
quickBid is a 60 second live auction app. Every minute, there is a new item up for auction, and each auction lasts exactly one minute. quickBid serves 2 sides: companies with excess items that need extra visibility beyond their own sales and discounts, and value-seeking customers looking to score great deals fast.
what technologies is quickBid built on?
quickBid is built on the MERN (Mongo, Express, React Native, Node.js) stack using JavaScript. We employ websockets to enable an interactive communication session between multiple users and our server.
Features we have in the roadmap include: categories to facilitate navigation, won bids history for each user, and bookmarking auctions to set reminders for bidding.
